Das ist tatsächlich mehr als grenzwertig.
Die Leitung mag das abkönnen (Auch bei 50 Grad Umgebungstemperatur mit der Abwärme vom Motorrad?).
Aber man darf sich nicht wundern, wenn dann vorne keine 12V ankommen, sondern nur 11,x und unterwegs 4 Watt in der Leitung verheizt werden.
Zudem löst eine 10A Sicherung ja nicht bei 10,1A aus. Ich kenne jetzt die Kennlinien und Prüfströme hier nicht. Aber es kann durchaus sein, dass hier z.B. 12,5A für eine Stunde zulässig sind, bevor die Sicherung fliegt.

Hi Michael, I have lots of details below for you...
I have been told the connector itself is only rated for 4.5 amps, the wire the connector accepts is 22awg, the harness is 1.5ft and is 4.5 amps rated.
I have been told their is a 10amp fuse for the AUX connection, which exceeds the connector capacity.
Heated grips typically draw 2.5a to 3.0a, which is one of the highest draw accessory items, I do not recommend exceeding 4.5 amps.
The AUX cable has a 1.5ft length, if you shorten it to 0.5ft, I have been told you can draw up to 8 amps, but that exceeds the connector capacity.
